Downalong, Trebetherick, Cornwall

A large family house, built by Terry Harris & Sons, with Architects Harrison Sutton Partnership and completed in 2013. The property stands at the top of Trebetherick, on the Greenaway cliffs and gets a good dose of Cornish weather from all directions. Add to the problems a major case of rabbits and you have the measure of this garden! Planting was a bit of a battle as we learnt what would survive best here. Even the toughest plants (and gardeners!) can be beaten on occasion.
