Exterior designer for hire… or Garden Designer… or Home designer…?!

It’s been niggling me for a while now that interior designers seem to have a better street cred (and salary) on the whole than garden designers, so I’m wondering whether to re-title myself as an Exterior Designer?  It sounds rather grand but it’s so hard to pin one title to my job. I’m a hands-on gardener, who loves creating new gardens and planting schemes. I draw designs and sketches of garden plans, I can organise landscaping and other sub-contractors, I buy and plant new areas, I renovate tired gardens and I love finding the right pots, furniture and artwork for the garden. I’ll even turn my hand to helping with your interiors since I believe strongly that the two should be intrinsically linked. Multi-tasking at it’s best! So if you’d like a garden designer/exterior designer/ home designer…. I’m your girl!
