Garden consultation

With a lifetime’s experience of creating, working in and enjoying gardens I have a wealth of horticultural knowledge that you can make use of!

Whether you have a tiny courtyard, balcony or grand estate I enjoy helping clients make the best of their outside space by offering advice on renovations, pruning, maintenance and planting. I have a keen eye for the best sense of space and can help plan where best to have your outside seating and dining areas, greenhouses, sheds, play areas etc. I can even help chose and source furniture, pots and accessories.

As a guideline of costs, a two hour on-site consultation costs £80 (in the Clifton area).

A half day on-site consultation with sketches costs £150 (plus travel if outside of Bristol area).

Planting

I offer a bespoke and personalised service for your home, creating and planting gardens. I strongly believe in the ethos of ‘right plant right place’: plants are happiest when growing in conditions closest to that of their natural habitat. With 11 years experience of gardening and designing in Cornwall I specialise in hardy plants and exposed locations but have also created cottage gardens, contemporary gardens, woodland and courtyard gardens. After an initial consultation I will draw up a planting plan and, once agreed, source, buy and plant your new beds and borders, pots and containers.

As a guide, to source, buy and plant a new border will cost from £200 plus travel costs and plants.
